IBM Maximo has no separate government industry solution: public agencies run Maximo Manage with the industry solutions and add-ons that match their assets. Maximo Civil Infrastructure is built around NBIS and AASHTO element inspection for bridges and tunnels, with a deficiency-to-work-order loop. Maximo Real Estate and Facilities (formerly TRIRIGA) covers space, leases, capital projects, and facility operations, Maximo Transportation handles fleet, and Maximo Spatial connects work and assets to your ArcGIS data. Together they hold the inventory, condition assessments, and work and cost history behind GASB 34 infrastructure reporting. Agencies using the modified approach must keep an up-to-date inventory of eligible infrastructure, assess condition on an objective scale, and estimate what it costs to maintain assets at the disclosed condition level.
Maximo 7.6.1 base support has ended and TRIRIGA support ends in 2027, so agencies still on either platform need a funded migration plan.
