The Challenge

Critical utility assets were maintained on fixed intervals regardless of condition, driving avoidable maintenance cost while still missing developing failures.

Our Approach

• Identified critical assets and failure modes suited to condition monitoring
• Deployed IoT sensors feeding condition data into the EAM platform
• Implemented predictive analytics models to flag developing failures early
• Shifted PM strategy from fixed-interval to condition-based for instrumented assets

Results

• Transition from reactive to condition-based maintenance on critical assets
• 99.8% uptime on monitored asset classes
• 97% PM compliance maintained through the transition
